Could there be a better place to Elope to than the beautifully named Surpise View in the heart of the glorious Peak District National Park?
When we are in the midst of a global pandemic who wouldn't want to run off to spend their wedding day in total isolation with the one that they love?!
The Peak District is such a magical setting for an elopement with stunning boulders and trees and lots of places for cozy, initimate, quiet moments to reflect on your wonderful day.
The stylist and co-ordinator for this gorgeous elopement wedding was Zayna of ZAZ Events. Her ethos is all about creating unforgetable memories and unique magical experiences and this day was no different. Despite the inclement weather the whole team were determined to make this day a very special day to remember.
In keeping with the beautiful natural landscape Zayna selected a neutral colour palette for the look and feel of this shoot. She wanted the shoot to feel romantic and secretive using the wonderful boulders for cover, yet she wanted it to feel edgy and rebellious too, just like the surrounding edges of the Peak District. Our couple were running to the hills to make their special connection without a care for anyone else.
The outdoor table setting was given a Bohemian vibe using neutral colours and gold accents. It was paired back and subltly understated - perfect for an elopement couple who want cool luxury but little fuss. Wooden plates and linen napkins along with handmade paper stationery by Rock Paper Nib. The gold decor on the charger plates and gold cutlery added that luxurious touch.
The low table & seating nestled within the boulders provided our newlyweds with the much needed cover from the wind and drizzle that persisted throughout the day. The weather did not dampen their spirits though. They had a delicious grazing platter for their wedding breakfast and their small but intimate celebration was styled to perfection.
Flowers weres beautifully arranged by The Flower Decorative who also provided the stunning bouquet. The florals including lots of gorgeous dried flowers that are so popular with Boho brides and as Boho Wedding arrangements.
I designed the cake in complimentary colours to the rest of the styling (Urban Cakehouse ). It was textured to reflect the rugged scenery and had peeled back layers to reveal gold underneath. The ethereal feel of the wafer paper decorations represented the windswept landscape of the rugged setting. The handpainted macarons were a lovely addition to the cake and could be used as favours for the loved ones who did not attend the elopement.
The dress, wow that dress! It was from Along Came Eve Bridal and what a beauty it was. The beaded sleeves were showstopping and it was the perfect dress for a pared back wedding. Beautifully detailed and oh so stylish.
Our beautiful bride wore stunning jewellery by Bish Bosh Becca that looked fabulous with her wedding gown and her hair and make up was styled by the Cheshire Makeup Company
It was joyous to hear the bespoke poem written espcially for them by Rhymes for Times read aloud, it brough a tear to everyones eye.
So lets look at some more photographs taken by the super talented Jenny Appleton Photo & Film and enjoy this gorgeous Peak District Elopement.
